SGAA 2010 Winter Sports Awards and Fun Day March 6th at the Soldier’s Memorial Sports Arena Agenda
10:00: Awards presented to all Regular Season and Tournament Winners in Basketball, and all Wrestling participants (Please wear your team jerseys!)
11:00: Registration for competitions
There will be competitions for best 3-point shooter, best free throw shooter and best ball handler.
Anyone who was registered to play basketball with us this season is eligible.
Kids will be grouped in appropriate age brackets. The 3-point and free throw competitions will be based on the number of completed tasks in a specified time frame (i.e., a minute).
The ball handling competition will be based on how quickly the task is completed.
11:30: Competitions will begin
2:00: There will be games between our 2 11/12 LLB All-Star teams and 2 visiting teams.
3:00: The winners from 2:00 will play on court 1; the other 2 teams will play on court 2.
4:00: There will be a game between our 2 11/16 LLG All-Star teams and a game between our 2 JLB All-Star teams
5:00: There will be games between our 2 SLB All-Star teams. *All of the games are being played for fun, as there are no trophies being awarded
We will be in need of volunteers to help during the competitions (at least 3 per goal). Coaches, please come out to help!!
