
SGAA is a non-profit organization comprised of 13 Board Members who volunteer their time to promote athletics and community spirit for the parents and kids in Southern Granville County. We have existed for over 30 years and are appreciative of all the generations who have passed through our programs over the years. We encourage your participation because without your help and support we cannot be successful and our children would miss the great opportunities received through team building and athletics

The Accounting firm of Cozart & Edwards, P.A. located in downtown Creedmoor handles the Financial Records for SGAA
South Granville Athletic Association is a proud partner with Babe Ruth League, Inc. youth baseball. Babe Ruth provides the structure for which the teams and rules are based. Each year, Babe Ruth has a district tournament for each age group. The top placing teams at district will move to a regional tournament.
We have two seasons of baseball, Spring and Fall. The Fall season is an instructional league designed to work the fundamentals of the players in preparation for the competitive Spring season.

The age groups for basketball are Tots 3&4, Midgets 5&6, Minors 7&8, Peewees 9&10, Little League 11&12, Juniors 13-15 and Seniors 16-19. The cut-off is August 31st of the current year.

Thanks for stopping by at the Soccer Home Page! Soccer is relatively new to SGAA but the program has come a long ways. The program has adopted the rules outlined by the National Federation of State High Schools.
The soccer program has two seasons, Spring and Fall. The Spring season is instructional and intended to be a review of the fundamentals in preparation of the more competitive Fall season.
The soccer age groups are Under 5, Under 7, Under 10, Under 14 and Under 19. The cut-off is August 1st of the current year.
The Soccer Program has partnered with Challenger Sports to provide a soccer camp during the summer!

The adult basketball league runs during the summer and winter. The summer season starts in June and finishes in September and the winter season starts in November and finishes in March.
Open to Men and Women ages 18 and up as of April 30th of the current year.
Practices and Games on Sunday afternoons at the Soldiers Memorial Sports Arena in Butner. Referees provided.
Teams will be placed into skill divisions, competitive and semi-competitive. Teams may move skill divisions after games have started.
